About us

Presentation Manor is a non-profit seniors residence located in the Clairlea-Birchmount neighbourhood on the east side of Toronto.

At Presentation Manor you truly do have an opportunity to get to know your neighbours. Whether you’re in the mood for fun, or more meaningful activities, our programs will give you a true sense of community. Share a meal, join a reflection group or volunteer either in the building or in the neighbourhood, you’ll have the freedom to meet and interact with others as you please.

Our values are founded in a long tradition of providing hope and compassion. Presentation Manor was inspired and developed by religious men and women, who have always endeavoured to provide physical, social, mental and spiritual care to people.

The services offered here, are based on respect and dignity for each individual and are attentive to the cultural and diverse needs of our residents.

Our guiding values

Presentation Manor is a welcoming vibrant community of communities offering seniors both independent and assisted living. Inspired by Catholic religious women and men, Presentation Manor strives to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for the well-being of all residents.

The values of Presentation Manor are:

RESPECT: for every person as created in the image of God.

INCLUSIVITY: an appreciation of everyone’s culture, heritage and beliefs.

REVERENCE: for the cumulative wisdom of the elderly and their potential to contribute to future generations.

CREATIVITY: in the planning and execution of a holistic program of activities and care that addresses our residents’ physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and moral needs and appreciates their input.

GRATITUDE: for all of creation as a gift and for the committed lives and sacrifice of those who have gone before us, especially for the lives and ministries of Canadian Catholic religious women and men who contributed to the realization of Presentation Manor.

Management Structure

As a non-profit corporation, Presentation Manor is managed by a volunteer board of directors.

Supporting congregations

The concept of uniting resources through solidarity loans and creating a legacy by building a place such as Presentation Manor was initially conceived in Winnipeg. Seeing the successful implementation of this model in two key residential developments, the idea captured the interest of congregations from across Canada, who came together to lend their support to the Presentation Manor project.
