Students from Royal Crown Academy visited residents of Presentation Manor.
Both groups shared their love and knowledge of painting and knitting
respectively. To break the ice between the two groups, the residents taught the
young students how knit on the first day. The enthusiasm in the atmosphere was
tremendous and the students were eager to learn more on their visits the next
two days. The following day, some residents continued to teach some of the
students how to knit, while the other students put together a fun painting
program for our residents. Finally, on the third day, all the students wanted to say
their thanks by doing a friendship painting with residents they partnered up with.
It was a great way to cap off the three-day event. Presentation Manor would like
to thank Royal Crown Academy and Chartwells for this exciting adventure. We are
looking forward to seeing the students in 2020 and beyond!
